- Upgrading of Klagenfurt as the heart of the institute
- Development of a digital hub for state-of-the-art online banking platform in the German-speaking region
- Processes and structures are made even more efficient and scalable
- Branch network remains an important component for the future
Klagenfurt, 24.7.2020 - After only a few weeks in office, the new CEO Dr. Christian Kubitschek has already set the strategic course for Austrian Anadi Bank with its 13 branches and around 300 employees: "From our home market Carinthia we will continue to expand our already very strong digital platform at full speed", explains Kubitschek, who had already successfully championed the Klagenfurt market in the past as a bank management board member.
Upgrading of Klagenfurt as the heart of the institute and digital hub
„"Klagenfurt is the heart of Anadi Bank", explains Kubitschek. "Thanks to our strong branch presence and our loyal customers, our roots are here in Carinthia. That is why we will drive our business growth from here in the coming years on the basis of efficient structures and processes".
Kubitschek sees great potential for Klagenfurt in the digital sector: "We would like to become an attractive employer for digital experts in Klagenfurt. Our online platform has what it takes to inspire customers far beyond Carinthia in the entire German-speaking region".
Business growth based on efficient processes and structures
"To position Anadi Bank well for the digital future, we are now reviewing all processes and the entire administration", Kubitschek announced. "We need to further increase the efficiency of the bank - this means streamlining processes, simplifying structures and investing in a set-up that will make our already very powerful digital platform scalable for the entire German-speaking region.“
This approach will also lead to changes in the team by early 2021: Some positions will be relocated from Vienna to Klagenfurt, others will be combined or not filled in the course of natural fluctuation. An outsourcing solution is currently being examined for facility management and some similar functions. "We are planning the next steps very diligently and will closely cooperate with the works council," says Kubitschek.
Strong presence with private and corporate customers both digitally and through branches and personal advice
The expansion of the Public Finance segment and business with corporate customers will be just as much a focus in the future as the strengthening of the position as a hybrid bank for private customers with established branches and the aforementioned comprehensive digital offering. "The unusual times in recent months have shown that we are a reliable partner for our customers, both digitally - for example through our successful corporate loan tool - and personally in our branches", Kubitschek is pleased to report. "We will continue to build on this in the future.”
