Top-quality expert advice is a key element for your successful investment. And comprehensive investment advice is indeed a special concern for us, since different risks can arise depending on the fund you choose.

Flexible solution for your investment

The Power Combo makes your entry into the world of investment easy. Take advantage of a combination of a savings passbook with a fixed interest rate of 4% p.a.* (less capital gains tax) for a term of 6 months and a specially selected investment fund from Austrian Anadi Bank AG’s “Standard and Special Funds Master Lists"** with no fixed term.
A wide range of investment funds is available to choose from to make up your own individual Power Combo. The investment funds available have different risk profiles, so that your Power Combo has either a higher or a lower risk structure. For this reason, only certain combinations are suitable for customers with a lower risk appetite. Because the risk level also reflects the opportunity for greater returns, investors should note that the performance of the investment funds is different.

* In the event of withdrawal of the savings deposit prior to expiry of the 6-month term, a penalty is charged in accordance with § 32 (8) of the Austrian Banking Act (BWG) in the amount of 1 per mille of the amount withdrawn for each full month in which the commitment period has not been observed. At the end of the term, the amount deposited will continue to accrue interest at the rate for savings deposits payable on demand.

**The “Standard and Special Funds Master Lists"** are a representative selection of investment funds available through Austrian Anadi Bank AG, which must meet certain objective quality criteria (e.g. the investment fund must have a minimum rating, demonstrate performance over a longer period of time and provide sufficient and relevant information material).

Risk notice
Generally speaking, riskier Power Combo variants are associated with greater opportunities for profit, but also greater risks of loss. Any investment in an investment fund is associated with a certain risk, and even the total loss of the amount invested in an investment fund cannot be ruled out.

The total return on the Power Combo can be lower due to the performance of the selected fund and the fees and costs arising (e.g. upfront fee), and the total investment result can be negative. However, this is just one reason why we take the provision of detailed advice very seriously. Your advisor will help you select the combination best suited to your risk appetite.

Information about the product package

The elements of the Power Combo product can also be purchased separately: if both investment amounts are identical, the price and costs will be the same whether you purchase the elements separately or in a Combo package. However, the interest rate offered on the savings passbook is more advantageous as part of a Power Combo package than for an individual savings passbook (to view the interest rates currently on offer, go to anadibank.com/privatkunden/sparen).

Savings passbook costs
At the time of investing in a savings passbook (as part of the Power Combo scheme or as an individual savings passbook), no costs or ancillary charges are due. In the event of a premature withdrawal, a penalty is charged in accordance with § 32 (8) of the Austrian Banking Act (BWG) in the amount of 1 per mille of the amount withdrawn for each full month in which the commitment period has not been observed; upon successful completion of the term, completion charges of currently EUR 6.00 will be due.

Investment fund costs
The specific costs arising from the purchase of an investment fund, such as the upfront fee, administration charges, transaction costs, etc. are the same if making the purchase as part of the Power Combo scheme or if purchasing the investment fund separately. Prior to purchasing any investment fund, you will receive a separate cost disclosure, which sets out in detail the actual costs to be charged, depending on the investment fund selected.

Overall risk of the package
The risk associated with the overall package is different than the risk that would arise from investing in just one element. If the whole investment amount is invested solely in a savings passbook, the amount invested is covered by the rules governing deposit protection and the interest earned is dependent upon the type of savings passbook selected. If the whole investment amount is invested solely in an investment fund, depending on the type of investment fund selected, a substantial part of the investment amount, or, in the worst case, the whole amount may be lost. With an investment in the Power Combo, the overall risk profile of the package is significantly higher than investing solely in a savings passbook, because half of the capital will be invested an investment fund.

Deposit protection
The statutory deposit protection scheme secures your capital and interest earned on savings passbooks, current accounts and term deposits up to a total amount of EUR 100,000 per saver and bank. Austrian Anadi Bank AG is a member of Hypo-Haftungs-Gesellschaft m.b.H. (cross-guarantee administrator). More information about deposit protection is available at anadibank.com/einlagensicherung (deposit protection), hypohaftung.at or from your customer advisor.
