Currency management
We offer you the following ways to manage currency.
Cash transactions
We process the purchase/sale of one freely convertible currency for another. Delivery is generally made two banking days after the transaction has been completed.
Forward exchange transactions
If you need a specific amount of foreign currency at a later date, we will lock in an exchange rate and process the sale or purchase transaction in all common currencies.
Forward exchange transactions may only be concluded with Austrian Anadi Bank AG, however, if they can be classified as a means of payment as defined by the criteria of Delegated Regulation (EU) No. 565/2017.
Classification as a means of payment within the meaning of Delegated Regulation (EU) No. 565/2017 is only possible if settlement is effected physically, the contract is entered into to facilitate payments for goods, services or direct investment and is not traded on a trading venue.
Due to various reporting obligations, forward exchange transactions can only be executed on bank business days between 8.00 am and 2.00 pm.
Non-deliverable forward transaction, with non-deliverable currencies
These have the same effect as the forward exchange transactions however no exchange of capital takes place. Upon maturity, only a compensation payment, exclusively in EUR ar USD is made (the difference between the NDF rate and the reference rate). Currently, the currency pairs traded as NDF are EUR/INR and USD/INR (additional currency pairs upon request).
The same restrictions as for forward foreign exchange transactions (see above) apply.
Stop-loss/take-profit orders
Stop-loss/take-profit orders for a cash transaction "FX Spot"
This order allows you to buy/sell a certain currency at a certain rates within a defined time period.
Stop-loss/take-profit orders for a forward exchange transaction "FX Outright"
This order allows you to buy/sell a certain currency at a certain rates within a defined time period.
The same restrictions as for forward foreign exchange transactions (see above) apply.
